Model 98 German Mauser Sporter 8X57 8mm manufactured 1915 in Danzig
Description: .... S O L D.....This WW1 vintage Mauser was manufactured in 1915 at the Danzig Arsenal. It has a floated 24 inch military stepped barrel. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. The rear sight is a Redfield and operates perfectly. Blueing is thinned out on the last four inches of the barrel, the receiver ring, the floor plate and the trigger guard. LOP is fourteen inches. I estimate the two stage tigger to be around four pounds. Total weight is 8 pounds 14 ounces. The action is smooth and locks up tight. Buyer pays $50.00 for three day insured shipping within the lower 48. Ih shipping costs turn out to be more, I will pay the difference. If less, I will refund the differenc. FFL is required.
