"Serial no. 92203. Manufactured in 1917 by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori, chambered in 6.5x55mm Swedish, 18"" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout. The metal has aged to an even grey patina, while the original factory markings remain sharp and clearly visible. The stock shows minimal handling and service wear, presenting well for its age. The stock disk and sling mounting hardware have been removed. The compact M1894 was Sweden’s purpose-built cavalry carbine and is increasingly desirable among collectors, particularly when encountered with matching serial numbers. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
