This Peruvian Model 1909 7.65X53mm Mauser rifle is in excellent condition. The approx. 29.5"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 98% blue finish. The bright bolt, receiver, buttplte, and cleaning rod are excellent. The chamber is marked with a beautifully struck Peruvian crest with MAUSER ORIGINAL to the rear. The left side of the receiver is marked WAFFENFABRIK MSUDRT OBERNDORF A/N over MODELO 1909. All numbers including the stock, cleaning rod, barrel, receiver, trigger floorplate, magazine floorplate, action screws, and bolt assembly match. There are NO import marks. The stock is excellent with the MAUSER logo and small Peruvian crest on the left butt. The serial number and another crest are to the rear of the bottom sling attachment point. A pair of what appears to be facing Ms or Ws is just behind the trigger guard. The action functions correctly. This about new Peruvian Model 1909 rifle is fit for the finest South American or export Mauser collection.
