For your consideration is a completely original all matching down to the screws 1939 JP Sauer & Sohne k98k made and issued the first year of WWII. This rifle is extremely solid with indications of extensive use during the war, and if it could only talk! The interesting thing about this rifle is that it appears to be a Luftwaffe issue despite most sources showing the Heer received all of the weapons from Sauer that year. The stock cartouches are visible and the stock is matching to the rifle. The bore is slightly dark but serviceable still with about 50% of its rifling remaining. It includes an original sling as well, If you know these rifles you know that the 1936-1939 examples are the most sought after, especially the Sauer rifles for their extremely high quality This one has no duffle cut and is not import marked. It was purchased from Simpson Ltd a few years back and I am sorry to have to part with it. Thanks for looking. Shipping is included in the price.
