THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF AN EARLY 1941 WW 2 NAZI MAUSER 98K. ORIGINALLY DESTINED FOR THE PORTUGESE, WW 2 NECESSITATED THEM BEING RE-DIRECTED IN TO THE GERMAN RANKS. THEY ARE WELL MARKED WITH EAGLES , WAFFENAMPTS , CARTUCHES , ETC, ....THEY ARE LUXURIOUSLY MADE WITH A HIGH POLISH FINISH AND WALNUT STOCKS. THE FINISH ON THE RIFLE WOULD RATE 98-99%, WITH THE WOOD SHOWING SOME HANDLING AND IMPRESSIONS HERE AND THERE WITH CRSIP CLEAR MARKINGS. THE BORE IS MINT. IT IS 100% MATCHING AND ORIGINAL THROUGHOUT. IT COMES WITH AN EXCELLENT MATCHING BAYONET WITH SCABBARD..... C&R OK
