Portugese Mauser 1941, All Matching, w/Matching Bayonet, Excellent, Un-issued Condition!
Description: Available for sale is an Excellent condition and hard to find All Matching Portuguese Model 1941 Mauser, with a Matching Bayonet! This rifle is in Un-issued condition! It comes from an estate of a fellow gun collector. This rifle is NOT import marked on the barrel or under the handguard/stock. This Portuguese model 1941, was stamped on left side of receiver, MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF AN, a German factory, and then shipped to Portugal. It has a nice and crisp Portuguese crest on the top of receiver as well as a 1941 Cartouche on the left side of the stock. There are 4 German Eagle Waffenamts on the stock, and at least 2 or more on the receiver and barrel. All Matching serial numbers on the rifle and the bonus is the all-matching Bayonet & Scabbard that is also in excellent or un-issued condition. Serial Number is: F15356 matching including the bolt, bolt parts, safety, sear, bolt release, receiver, trigger group, floorplate, magazine follower, rear sight, rear sight slide, front & rear barrel bands, stock (inside and outside), handguard (inside), bayonet, and scabbard. Rifle has German K98 sights, with original front sight hood and unnumbered cleaning rod. The blued finish is 98%. The stock is in excellent minty condition. Wood stock is oiled solid walnut with a cupped buttplate. Buttplate has some frosting and has the stamps, "brg" a "cross" and another German waffenmant proof "eagle/WaA497" . Bore is bright, and shiny with strong lands and grooves. It looks like a brand new bore. The bolt head looks to be test fired only. If you are looking to enhance your 98K or Portuguese variant collection, this can be the rifle you have been hoping to find! The value of these Collectible German made rifles are based on Condition, Condition, Condition,...and All Matching Serial #'s..... and this rifle has it all! I can only ship to the lower 48 states. Sorry, but no sales to CA. Make sure this rifle is legal to transfer and own in your City/State before purchasing. Shipping will be a flat $50 in the lower 48. FFL or C&R license is required for transfer. Will accept a C&R if your state will recognize. If not, then I will need a copy of your FFL to send rifle to you.
