A wonderful, no excuse, all original and matching Steyr-Daimler-Puch Mauser K98k German battle rifle made in 1941 rifle that would be difficult to upgrade!

Description:

Standard configuration and all matching Steyr-Daimler-Puch Mauser K98k WWII German battle rifle made in 1941 with hooded drift adjustable inverted V front sight and a tangent rear sight graded 1-20. Left side of the barrel, receiver ring, and receiver ring marked with the serial number along with the WaA623. Top of receiver ring marked with the “bnz” referencing Steyr-Daimler-Puch over over the production year “41” (1941). All parts matched to serial number 9613f, including the bayonet lug, both barrel bands, rear sight, all components of the bolt, follower, trigger guard assembly/floorplate, laminated buttstock, and even the cupped buttplate. Usual scattering of acceptance markings along sides of receiver, barrel, floorplate, barrel bands, and stock. Complete with correct cleaning rod and original leather sling.

Condition:

Near excellent, original, and all matching Steyr-Daimler-Puch Mauser K98k with sharp edge wear and thinning as one might expect from a carefully maintained service rifle. Comparable condition laminated stock with raised grain showing no suggestion of sanding or touch-up. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. VG-EXC sling.
