Description:
"NSN. Made circa 1950's-70's chambered in 257 Ackley Improved on a German Mauser action with a 24"" barrel. Custom stock made of nicely figured walnut, hand cut checkering, ebony forend tip and an oil finish, custom bottom metal featuring an inside the guard release and a period Redfield Bear Cub 4x scope. This rifle was made by F. William (Bill) Hause who was a student of P.O. Ackley at Trinidad College and hand picked to work for him where he did so from 1950 through 1957. It is in very good condition with some light handling marks. CONSIGNMENT
