Ernest Dumoulin Mauser Rifle 30-06 Engraved w/Gold Inlays Ca. 1960
A fine sporting rifle made by Ernest Dumoulin of Belgium, made in 1960 by special order. Mauser action, engraving with gold inlays. On the flooplate is a stunning Roebuck. Jeweled bolt, follower and safety. Double set adjustable trigger. Rear sight express with 2 leaves. The top of the action has a hammered finish with the original set screws still in place. Rare "basket weave" checkering on the pistol grip and fore arm. Rosewood pistol grip with ivory circle. Fore arm tip is ebony. 24" barrel with a mirror bore, excellent lands and grooves. The rifle has never been fired! Beautiful engraving and gold inlay work throughout the action, barrel, bottom metal and trigger guard. LOP is 14 1/2 inches and 13 3/8 inches to back of the butt.
