Made by W GEHMANN the inventor of several European cartridges and many types of match sights for target rifles. Also developed the Model 66 Mauser rifle action. This 3/4 stocked sporting rifle is in .270 caliber using Bohler Spezial steel, Mauser action fully oak leaf engraved; ditto with the floorplate which has a wonderful Red Stag in a forest setting. Engraved and checkered bolt handle. Equipped with quick detach claw scope mounts and a wonderful Hensoldt Diavari 1.5-6x riflescope with a German No 8 reticle. Also equipped with hand fitted hooded ramp and 2 leaf express rear iron sights. Rifle has double set triggers and Sauer type safety. A superb sporter in a wonderful caliber, in overall excellent condition in all respects.
