Up for sale we have a K98 Mauser "small ring" that has been sporterized into a hunting rifle and rechambered in 30-06. This customization was done extremely well (likely in the 50's) with a perfect fit in the stock, and what appears to be a new barrel and front sight. The bore is mint with a perfect crown and the previous owner said he put down many mile deer at 300-400 yards with this rifle. The action is smooth and functions as it should. The triggerpull is ridiculously nice breaking sharp with little pressure, I can see why the previous owner loved it for hunting. The optics are Weaver 4X however unfortunately the lenses are very foggy or dirty or both so the scope should replaced with a newer scope of your choice to restore this highly capable rifle. Shipping is 60$.
