Mauser ~ Custom 98 Attributed to Roger Kehr ~ .375 Whelen

Description:
Roger Kehr Attributed Engraved Mauser Model 98 Bolt Action Rifle. Manufactured without sights with two thin gold inlaid bands around the barrel at the breech. Drilled and tapped receiver with polished bolt and engraved bolt handle knob. The satin grey floor plate is engraved with a highly detailed bulging stag surrounded by fine floral scroll, and the trigger guard is engraved with a howling wolf. Finely checkered pistol grip stock with ebony forend cap, engraved steel grip cap, and solid rubber Old English recoil pad. The engraving is sharp and highly detailed. The stock is also excellent with rich color, sharp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
