Mauser K98 Sporter 8x57 cal

Description:
This mauser sporter was probably done just post WWII when there were no commercial rifles available for deer hunting (all previous production having gone to the war effort). While we wish the gun was original today, it was made into a sporter at a time when it did not have much value as a military rifle. Barrel has a ramp front sight installed, stock altered, Redfield receiver sight installed, etc. And all with an excellent bore and chamber in the original 8x57 caliber.
