Mauser Model VZ 24 Sporter Caliber 280 Rem Bolt Action Rifle
Caliber: 280 Rem
Barrel: 26"
Note: This VZ 24 Mauser action has been fitted with a McGowen barrel in caliber 280 Remington. The gun is fitted to a bird's eye maple stock and topped with a Bushnell 10x Banner scope with adjustable objective. The gun shows no wear or abuse. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. At the time we acquired the rifle, there was a drying crack at the top of the wrist and our stock man has repaired that progfessionally. To give you an idea of the mass of the gun, the gun with the tapered bull barrel weighs in at 12 lbs, 7 ounces.
