Mauser Manliccher Post-World War 1 (Pre-WWII) Commercial Mauser Bolt Action Rifle in 8x60 Norma - Rich in History - Double Set Trigger - Adjustable Rear Sites - Developed following World War I when the Versailles Treaty restricted manufacturing of the 7.92x57mm cartridge, the 8x60 was 2 millimeters longer in the body, 1 millimeter longer in the neck and identical in nearly every other sense making conversion of civilian 7.92 rifles a relatively painless procedure. Ramp blade front sight and a 1000-meter tangent rear sight on the barrel - receiver marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.-G. OBERNDORF AM NECKAR" and "8x60 NORM" at the breech. The Oberndorf address is on the left receiver wall in one line, with "crown/B" and "crown/U" proofs on the left side of the ring and on the bolt handle, "crown/G" "crown/N" receiver, a quick release floorplate and adjustable double set triggers. Checkered pistol grip stock with a Manliccher blue steel grip cap - Superb Hunting Rifle! ALL NUMBERS MATCH!! No replacement parts used on this fine rifle!!
