Mauser Model Patrone - .22 LR . Single Shot Training / Sporting Rifle - Smooth Mauser walnut golden honey colored stock with sling swivels and Mauser Cartouche on the right side. Mauser stamped metal butt plate in very good condition. 26 in. long barrel with A.G. Oberndorf A.N. and D.R.P. DRG.M stamped, with matching serial numbers on barrel, receiver and stock. Military style target rear sight adj. for windage and elevation from 30 to 200 meters and a fixed inverted front sight. Receiver grooved for scope. Milled trigger guard with checkering on the bow to aid in off hand shooting. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 80 - 85 % bluing. Stock is solid no cracks or dents, does have a number of small handling marks. Manufactured circa 1938 . Used as both a military training rifle as well as a civilian sporting rifle. Overall condition is very good . Nice addition to any collection.
