"SN: 110013 made circa 1910’s in Germany. Bolt action sporting rifle with a 22" barrel on a Mauser 98 action chambered in 250-3000 also known as 250 Savage. The barrel features a banded ramp front sight, barrel band sling swivel and sleeved rear ladder sight. Engraved Stith scope rings and bases hold a Zeiss Diatal-C 4X32 scope. An aftermarket Winchester 70 style 2 position safety is fitted to the bolt and the hinged bottom metal has a lever release. The stock has a 14" LOP to the original Mauser butt plate, blued pistol grip cap and a hand checkered grip. Bore is excellent and the bluing is in very good condition for the age with some light wear and handling marks. Stock is in in good condition with normal handling marks. Comes with STITH MOUNTS basketweave leather sling.
