Custom Mauser sporting rifle. 6.5x55 Fraser inspired.

Description:
A beautiful custom built Mauser rifle by Brian Dudley (BMD Gunstocks).  The rifle was built with a heavy influence from Daniel Fraser Mausers.  The action is an Interarms Mark X.  It is chambered in 6.5x55 swede and the barrel is custom contoured.  The double square bridges were custom made and machined to accept talley QD rings.  The action has a lenghened tang with a thumb safety attached to a timney trigger.  The bottom metal is stradle style from Dumoulin.  The bolt handle was custom scratch made in the Fraser style and the knob checkered/engraved by Geoffroy Gournet.  The iron sights on the barrels are NECG and the front sight is fiber optic red.  The scope mounted on the rifle is a vintage steel tube weaver 2.5-7x.  The rifle is stocked in the fraser style with nicely figured curcassian walnut.  The henry style forend tip is horn.  The butt treatment is a orange silvers that is capped with a horn buttplate.  The metal finish is Rust and Nitre blue.  The stock is oil finished and shows a few marks from use and handling.  Any rifle built on an interarms action is going to have some mass to it.  This one with the scope on it comes in at 10 lbs.  Shipping is included to your FFL
