KAR 88 Cavalry Carbine

For your consideration, here is a KAR 88 Mauser Cavarly Carbine in fair/good condition made by Erfurt manufacturing. This old war horse has seen much use over its lifetime and while in good mechanical working order, the rifling in the barrel is very worn. Not surprising as these guns were pressed back into service during WW1. This particular carbine is all matching and is fitted with the "S" spitzer barrel but has retained its original N block configuration with no changes to the magazine. It retains its original unit markings and the cartouches on the stock are in very nice condition. This model was first of long and prestigious line of Mauser rifles, a sure fire conversion piece and great piece of history. This rifle is considered to be antique as it was made in 1890 so it can be shipped right to your door unless otherwise specified by your state or local jurisdictions. Shipping $45 dollars.
