Description: This is an excellent example of a European sporterized Mauser, featuring exquisite engraving on the trigger guard, receiver, and butter knife bolt handle. The detachable claw mount scope system exemplifies German engineering, providing a robust and precise fit. It secures a 30mm vintage "Nimrod" 5x scope. Although the scope's glass has a slight cloudy haze, it boasts a substantial outer reticle with fine crosshairs and a dot beneath them. However, the bottom crosshair is not perfectly centered on the attached heavy line. Windage adjustments are facilitated by the rings beneath the scope. The rifle also features a full-length top rib with an express-style sight and is equipped with a fine set of double-set triggers. It's fitted with a modern Fajen stock, which, while not fully complementing the rifle's aesthetics, provides adequate fit for proper function and use.
