Description:
Between the two major wars, Mauser manufactured a number of models of single shot and magazine rifles chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Most were variations of the k98 military rifle. This one is one of those with a 3-position safety on the bolt. This one will make an excellent trainer rifle for the new shooter. The hardwood stock appears to be Beech, and is in solid shooter condition with no cracks. The safety appears to be working just fine. The sights are tight, the Mauser cartouche is sharp, and the bolt is smooth. .22 Long Rifle
