DELUXE CASED MAYNARD MODEL 1865 SPORTING RIFLE WITH 2 SETS OF BARRELS
Description: Rifle barrel is about 40 caliber. Shotgun barrel is 20 gauge. Both are 26 inches. Both have bright shiny bores. Overall condition of barrels is excellent+ with 95% original bright blue on the rifle barrel. 80%+ slightly toning blue on the shotgun barrel. The frame retains a considerable amount of original case colors starting to turn a silver color. Deluxe wood is nicely checkered with sharp checkering. Rifle style butt plate and correct long range folding tang sight. The leather case shows some use. The compartments for the barrels show some amateur restoration. Still quite serviceable. Overall gun is clean sharp and excellent condition complete with a very scarce Massachusetts Arms dual cavity bullet mold.
