"WWII French MAS 1936 Bolt-Action Rifle 7.5x54mm French (L2025-08549)

Description:
"Serial No. L43647, made circa 1945, 7.5 French, 22.5" round barrel. This MAS 1936 bolt-action rifle was produced near the end of WWII and later arsenal-refinished for continued service. The current barrel is dated 1954, indicating it was replaced during post-war refurbishment. The right side of the receiver is import marked. The wood stock remains in very good condition, showing only light surface handling impressions. Metal finish is consistent with post-war armory refinishing, with an overall even appearance. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid representative of the MAS 36 rifle family, showing the transitional characteristics between wartime production and post-war French military upgrades.
