MAS 36 (Model 1936) Rifle, All Matching, Bayonet, 7.5x54mm French, 1946, C&R

Description:
For your consideration is a MAS-36 bolt-action rifle built at the French Manufacture d’Armes de Saint Étienne Arsenal in 1946. Includes the reversible spike bayonet. This is an early post-war build which was assembled from wartime-style parts. May have seen French colonial use in the First Indochina War or early stages of the Algerian War.

Condition:

• Finish: Retains its original early post-war black finish with some normal wear. Matching bolt is parkerized.
• Markings: Clear and sharp, matching serial numbers (receiver, bolt, floorplate, trigger guard, butt stock, forearm), bayonet is non-matching. Import marked C.A.I.  
• Stocks: Fine, no cracks or chips, tight fitment. Light handling marks from military use.
• Bore: Very good, bright with well-defined rifling.
• Mechanics: Strong with crisp and smooth action, all controls function as designed.

Overall, a very desirable MAS Model 1936 rifle for your collection and/or shooting pleasure!

I am registered with the state of California for approved gun transfers. Please check with your FFL if this firearm is approved before purchasing.

All firearms have a 3-day, no firing inspection period from the date the item is received at your FFL Dealer or C&R. The firearm cannot leave the FFL premises prior to inspection/acceptance. The date received is the date the item is shown as delivered by the tracking information provided by the shipping entity.
Returns are only accepted for items that arrive at the transfer agent in a condition other than advertised in the listing. Returns must be left with the transfer agent.
Firearms returned for other than damage or misrepresentation will have all shipping/ fees and a restocking fee of 15% subtracted from the refund. Any damage incurred in transit is the responsibility of the shipping agent (USPS, UPS, etc.). I will assist with any claim, but any damages will be paid by the shipping agent.
