Rare Iraqi-issued 1957 Czech VZ 52/57 - 7.62x39
Description:
A nice condition 1957 Czech VZ 52/57.
A development of the older VZ 52 rifle, the VZ 52/57 features a pinned barrel and is chambered in 7.62x39mm. This example is marked with an Iraqi “Jeem” marking, indicating it was used by the Iraqi military at some point. No matching numbers. The metal finish on this rifle is almost gone from the exterior barrel, receiver, triggerguard and magazine, but the chrome-lined bore is in excellent shape. The wood stock and handguard show some scrapes and dings, but have no cracks and are in very good condition. I have fired this at the range and it operated perfectly. Includes 1 10rd magazine and a sling.
