Add this beautiful piece to your collection for only $2800 or best offer. Trades for pre ban firearms considered. Do not hesitate to ask for more pictures. I will gladly provide them. Calls will be answered between 8am and 12 noon PST. Texts will be answered as soon as I receive them. Gun must ship to a valid FFL or C&R holder. $50 to the continental US, more to Alaska and Hawaii. International shipping can be arranged. Fun history bit on this rifle. This rifle is one of approximately fifty five (55) in the US, according to the sources I can find. They started out life as Romanian contract Mannlichers, but when Romania took up arms against the Austro-Hungarian empire, the contract was canceled. These rifles were then rechambered to 8mm and put on the export market. From there, they got mixed into crates of Gewehr 88s, Mauser 71s, and Mauser 84s that smugglers from Northern Ireland purchased. After the initial fighting between the IRA and Ulster Volunteers died down, many of these rifles were handed over to the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC), who defaced the red hand of Ulster markings and took them in. While these rifles are rather common amongst Commonwealth countries, very few made their way into the US. Making this a rare piece, and a great addition to any collection.
