"U.S. Remington-Lee Model 1885 45-70 (AL9853) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. 51853 (Naval No.2743), circa 1889, .45-70, 32.5"" round barrel. Barrel is a plum patina with scattered surface oxidation,receiver is marked ""U.S.N./Anchor/No.2743/W.W.K."". Receiver is light grey with standard factory markings. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches, a light surface crack is noted on the wrist right side. This rifle is for the second Navy contract of 300 rifles in June 1889. CONSIGNMENT
