1898 KRAG - carbine conversion

Description:
This is an 1898 Krag that came out of a deer camp in Michigan's upper penisula. It was one of a couple of "camp rifles" and has been responsible for a pile of deer. No cartouches visible, both the barrel and the stock appear to have been cut down to aproximate carbine configuration. I would score the bore condition as somewhere around 6-7 and it has worked well with both jacketed and cast. Wood gets an 85% or better rating.
No rust or pits on the metal. Mostly gray.
