Springfield Model 1842 Musket

Description:
Springfield Model 1842 Musket 69 cal Bore Smooth, Mech VG, works well, Wood is VG real nice with no cracks, chips or repairs. Has a original 42” Rd barrel with bayonet lug, sling swivels,original barrel bands and ramrod . The lockplate is excellent with Springfield 1849 date. Has original buttplate US marked. Metal overall has a dark brown patina finish with some fine to light pitting in the bolster area.
