Description:

Swiss model 1878/81 infantry rifle caliber 10.4x38RF. There were several changes from the last model. There is a different rear sight, it has a bayonet stud on the nose cap, the butt plate is more curved and the butt stock has a dowel in the wrist. About 80% finish. Good wood. The bore has strong rifling and shows some light pitting, Good to very good over all condition.
