British Snyder Patent Officers Rifle, London Armory, Caliber .577 w/29 1/2” Barrel, EXC. Bore, ANTIQUE 

Description:
The London Armory made this Snyder Patent, private purchase rifle.
It is chambered for the  .577 black powder cartridge and retains an excellent bright bore.  I always like to "undersell" so that you will be pleasently surprised. In this case I can say that the bore is just astounding, how it survived this long is remarkable. The exterior surface is starting to brown but has no corrosion or pitting.
The Lock is marked; “LONDON ARMORY Co. / JAs KERR & Co. / 54 KING WILLIAM St. E. C.” -  “1869”. A crown over V.R. is also marked behind the hammer.
The stock is made of beautiful highly figured English Walnut whith what appears to be original finish. Both the grip and fore end are finely checkered. The top of the butt plate is marked “G. C. / No. 12”
It has what appears to be the original sling, a testimony to the careful storage it has had over the past 155 years. Rifles like this were made for private sale to local militia members. Premium grade arms like this one would have been purchased by affluent officers. Perhaps records exist that would permit identification.

SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $80.00.

FIREARMS:
          Antique firearms, pre 1898 do not require a Federal License. For purchase, a copy of a Government Issued Identification (Drivers License, Etc), showing date of birth and current address will be required.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay. 
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 45 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
