"Imperial German Model 71/84 Bolt Action Rifle by Spandau Arsenal – 11mm (59467)

Description:
"Serial No. 2774, manufactured in 1888, chambered in 11mm with a 31½"" round barrel. The bore shows surface oxidation in the grooves, though the rifling remains strong and well defined. Serial numbers are matching throughout except for the bolt. The barrel’s blue finish is thinning to a brown patina, while the receiver and bolt have aged to a grey patina. Factory markings remain sharp and clearly legible. The stock is in very good condition, showing light refurbishment while retaining its original form. The butt plate is unit marked “G.R.S./3.9.", adding desirable regimental character. Overall presentation is clean and honest for an Imperial German service rifle of this era. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
