"Pre-WWII German 42 Code 1938 Dated K98 Bolt Action Rifle – 8mm (L2025-11469)

"Serial No. 7525x, manufactured in 1938, 8mm, 24" round barrel. Rifle remains in very good overall condition, retaining approximately 90% of its original blue finish, with light thinning noted on the barrel. Factory markings and Waffenamt inspection stamps remain sharp and well-defined. All serial numbers are matching throughout, confirming originality. The hardwood stock is solid and shows only light handling marks typical of careful service use. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle comes complete with its original sling. An excellent example of an early pre-war Mauser K98, produced in 1938 under the “42" code, representing the high manufacturing quality of Mauser Oberndorf prior to full wartime production.
