Rare, Nazi MP44 - Semi-Automatic

Description:
This is a rare Nazi MP 44 modified to semi-automatic after the war. This gun was built from an original receiver that was single saw cut per ATF instructions to restrict full-auto use. It has WW2 parts but mismatched numbers throughout. The finish is very good overall, with areas of minor thinning and patina but no major defects. The bore has strong rifling with just a bit of frost in the grooves, and our consignor shot this one and said it ran great. Magazine is E/37 marked. Receiver is proofed 'cos' and has several waffenamts, including a Sauer E/37 proof. The wooden buttstock is period original and shows its age but has no structural issues.
