This Arisaka is believed to be a Type 38 from Kokura Arsenal based upon the series number (24) and S/N. The Type 38s were chambered in 6.5 X 55 Arisaka. This one is in good condition, with correct stock, and ramrod on its under-barrel ram rod. 6.5X55

Metal Condition: "Good. The blue is mostly intact, the engravings and stamps sharp, the Chrysanthemum is discernible through the grind mark.
Wood Condition: "Good. The stock has a number of scratches, digs, and dents.
