This is a WWII Japanese Sporterized Arisaka Type 38 for sale re-chambered to 257 Roberts Caliber. The barrel length is 24 inches long with a good bore. The bore has strong rifling, but is a little frosty. The finish on the metal is in good shape with a couple of areas of wear. The wood stock is structurally in great shape with no cracks or splits. The stock does have handling wear with dings and scratches. The metal parts do not all match and the mum has been ground off. Functionally this rifle works great but it has not been test fired.
