Arisaka ~ Type 99 ~ 7.7 Japanese

Description:
Shooter grade at best for sure. The rifle seems to function as designed but is missing several parts such as the anti-aircraft sights, dust cover, and wire monopod. The metal has some areas of moderate pitting on the butt plate as well as some other places where it's mostly light surface rust. Wood shows its age. Numerous dents and scratches running the full spectrum of severity adorn basically the entirety of the furniture. Sources indicate this rifle was built at the Kokura Arsenal in the 23rd Series. As is the norm when dealing with Arisaka rifles, the imperial chrysanthemum has been ground off. None

Chambers: Bolt action fed from an internal magazine with a hinged floor plate.
Metal Condition: Fair.
Wood Condition: Fair.
Bore Condition: Fair. The lands still have a glimmer of shine but the grooves are dark. Rifling is beginning to lose definition.
Barrels: 26" Blued.
Triggers: Blued metal with smooth face.
Stock Dimensions:
Hardwood with 13" LOP.
Fore End: Hardwood.
Butt Pad: Metal plate.
Weight: 7lbs 8oz
