Scarce, Excellent Arisaka Paratrooper Carbine - Full Mum
Description: This is a scarce and highly desirable Japanese Paratrooper rifle from World War II. Exclusively made at Nagoya Arsenal, the rifle is all matching and original and in excellent condition. The chrome-lined bore is near-mint, and the finish is very good overall. Most of the wear is on the trigger guard/floorplate. The mum is completely intact. The takedown mechanism is also all matching, and correctly not matching to the serial of the receiver as these were numbered separately. Receiver also features Kanji denoting it is a "Type II" rifle. Original cleaning rod and aircraft sights are present. The inside of the action and magazine assembly are excellent, indicating it was shot very little. The stock shows minor dings and nicks but no cracks or major issues with the wood.
