"National Postal Meter Bavaria Forestry Police M1 Carbine .30 carbine (L2026-06689)

Description:
"Serial No. 4197600, circa late 1943, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked “MARLIN". Bore is bright with strong rifling noted. Carbine remains in its WWII configuration with a flip safety added. Left side of the receiver is marked “BAVARIA FORESTRY POLICE". High wood stock is very good with faint cartouches noted on the right side. Sling well is marked 7600. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
