M1 Carbine Inland - From WWII To You !price reduced : was $3,295 now just $2,995
Description: This Inland M1 Carbine checks all of the boxes for every single part being correct as specified by U.S. Ordnance contract for original eleven manufacturers and USGI approved prime contractors producing the M1 Carbine and it's parts. My rifle has no stamped import or lend / lease marks. The stock and hand guard wood match as perfect as it gets and are stamped IO identifying them as being made by S.E Overton Hillerich & Bradsby. The stock started life as a oval cut high wood but was modified to a low wood to eliminate the thin wall next to the operating slide cracking and causing function issues. This rifle is a purebred and not a mutt ! I have totally disassembled it right down to the bolt extractor plunger and logged onto data sheets the correctness of every part based on manufacturer, serial number, date of manufacture, production block, USGI part ID stamp, and part version type. Those parts not stamped I verified being correct by measurement and pictures using the book by Roger Larson, "Comprehensive Guide M1 Carbine". The 829 page book has over 4,000 high quality photographs of each rifles production block and countless pages of history and information relating to the M1 Carbine production. If you are shopping on line for an M1 Carbine that you will be proud to own and even shoot, but want it to be historically correct then get Roger's book; it may save you a lot of grief and disappointment. If you want more of a look at my rifle I have nearly 200 photos and 3 Data Sheets I can provide upon request. Sad to say but a majority of the M1 Carbines I look at for sale on-line are either not as they are described or the rifle is being misrepresented as having the correct parts. Sometimes identification mistakes are made unintentionally or the authentication references were different than should be or just flat incorrect. That is why I use only one source for validating the authenticity of the rifles I sell. If you are shopping for an M1 Carbine and have any questions please feel free to contact me via Guns International and I will gladly do my best to answer your questions. The Inland M1 Carbine I have here is serial #3053369 and was manufactured during April of 1943. The barrel is dated 12 of '43 which tells me the barrel was replaced at some time. That might explain why the barrel guages nearly new. All of the metal matches very well for color and wear. There is wear only on contact points of the slide, bolt, and magazine catch. The muzzle crown is original and undamaged. Magazines lock up tight in the well and the safety functions as it should. I fire every rifle I sell to make sure it is safe and cycles properly, but accuracy will be up to you. There is no evidence of ever having the rear sight changed from a type two or three, nor is there any wear on the outside of the barrel from a Type III bayonet lug. The Inland larger version of the Cross Cannon Wheel is clearly visible on the right butt stock. This rifle is coming to you from WWII. An authentic true piece of U.S. Military History. Included with this rifle is two original Inland 15 round magazines,an original butt stock magazine pouch, IS (International Silver) oiler, C-tipped sling, quality reproduction zippered carry case, and reproduction field manual. The sales transaction will be in compliance with all state and federal firearms purchase and shipping regulations. Buyer pays actual shipping cost and optional insurance to the currently valid FFL of your choice or to purchasing C&R Licensee.. Although fully functional, this rifle is being sold as is with no expressed or implied warranty.. No Trades Accepted ! Accepted method of payment is USPS Money Order or qualified personal check. The last thing I would want is for you to have trouble or be disappointed in a rifle you purchase from me, so don't be in a hurry, feel pressured, or impulsive. I want you to have the rifle you envision and will help you make that buying decision. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Rifle Caliber: .30 Carbine Manufacturer: Inland Mfg.
