M1 Carbine Inland Div. by General Motors with barrel stamped date 12-42. Early model serial #13xxx2 in excellent condition with all original parts and many rare extras. Serial number indicates this M1 was produced in the first large production lot in early WW II. Early model with rear flip peep sight and push button mag release. ALL ORIGINAL. EXCELLENT CONDITION NEARLY NIB. Included are 3 original ammo packs, 6 magazines 2 with original ammo, 5 boxes of 50 rounds original 30 MI Carbine ammo with the Lake City Ordnance Lot stamp, the original scabbard and sling, original oiler, cleaning rod and the original 2 June 1943 M1 manual. All components and extras are in Excellent Condition.
Provenance: issued to Oregonian WW II veteran (deceased) in the PAC Theatre and handed down to his son - a resident of Oregon. The son has no memory of the M1 being fired.
This M1 package also includes the original, authentic Skykes-Fairbairn Dagger with sheath. See photos.
