US M1 Carbine by Quality Hardware (Mixed GI Parts)
Description: Serial #1927393, .30 Carbine, 16" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, post-war bayonet lug-equipped carbine that has a Quality HMC-made receiver mated to a 9-43 dated, Buffalo Arms barrel. Parts from various WW2 manufacturers are fitted: slanted "PI" slide; round "OI" bolt; "PI" stock iron; "Q" detachable spring guide; "INLAND" trigger housing; "HI hammer; "RIA" front sight; and "IR Co" stamped rear sight (the serial number was also restamped ahead of the rear sight). The metal retains 92-95% of a very nice armory reapplied parkerized finish, with some mild silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges, and on the bearing surfaces of the bolt and the slide raceway. The carbine is outfitted with a foreign-made M2 "pot belly" stock that has an unmarked sling cut, but does have a unit or inventory stamp on the left side of the buttstock: "AN / 041." The letters "SA" are also stamped onto the forearm on the left side of the barrel channel. The four-rivet handguard matches the stock closely, but is unmarked. A single wartime magazine is included. This is a great looking Carbine, in very good-fine condition, and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R; SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
