WW2 US M1 Carbine by Inland (Ogden Arsenal Rework)
Description: Serial #2956932, .30 Carbine, 18" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome carbine that has an 11 & 43 dated, Inland barrel; "S2" flattop bolt; "S" slide; "SG" trigger housing; "LT-Q" hammer; "WA" magazine release; "PR-B" stock iron; "OI" two-rivet handguard; "OI" low-wood stock; "H (in shield)" stamped, adjustable rear sight; and "JM" second type barrel band. The metal retains 92-95% of an arsenal reapplied parkerized finish with some fading and silvering along the raised edges and bearing surfaces. The stock and handguard are in excellent shape with a reapplied military oil finish over some minor handling marks and small blemishes scattered about. The left side of the stock has a clear "OG" Ogden Arsenal rework stamp as well. The carbine comes with a post-WW2 OD canvas sling, oiler, and a "G-Q" marked 15 rd. magazine. This is a splendid post-war reworked M1 Carbine, and is in excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
