WW2 US M1 Carbine by Inland (Post-War US Arsenal Rebuild)
Description:
Serial #6240866, .30 Carbine, 18" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a great looking carbine that has an Inland receiver mated to an Inland-made, 9-44 dated barrel. The barrel and receiver have retained 92-95% of an overall arsenal reapplied parkerized finish that has silvered at the muzzle, along the high and exposed edges, as well as along the bearing surfaces of the slide raceway and bearing surfaces of the flat-top bolt. Most of the small parts are contractor marked: "PI" slide, "OI" bolt, "INLAND" trigger housing, "HI" hammer, "EI" magazine release, "U" rotary safety, "DI" recoil plate, "I.R.CO." adjustable rear sight, "SI" barrel band/bayonet lug, and "OI" in the sling cut on the buttstock. Additionally, there is a "P" rework proof stamp on the inside of the grip, as well as an "RA-P" (Raritan Arsenal) rebuild stamp on the pistol grip cap. The stock and unmarked four-rivet handguard have minor handling marks and small surface blemishes scattered about the reapplied oil finish, but are otherwise in fine shape. The carbine comes with a post-war OD canvas sling, two-pocket magazine pouch, oiler, and two original wartime 15 rd. magazines. This is a great looking M1 Carbine, in fine arsenal refurbished condition, with accessories. FFL or C&R;
