Here is an excellent condition Springfield Armory M1 Garand produced in 1953
. This rifle has a new manufacture production Criterion barrel ($300 value), 6535382 SA operating rod, 6528287 SAbolt, DRC wind age knob, NHC elevation knob, National Match .062 front sight, and a mixture of WW2 and post-war internal parts. The trigger group consists of a -18 SA housing, SA -9 hammer, -11SA safety, and a stamped trigger guard. The gas cylinder has a wide front sight base with a NM .062 front sight , H marked gas cylinder lock, and a P x marked gas valve. The stock and hand guards has various knicks, dents, scrapes and scratches from a long life of military service but is in great serviceable condition and ready to continue serving. Rifle comes with a USGI sling. 

Overall the rifle is in excellent shape and is a fantastic example of the greatest battle implement ever devised.
