SPRINGFIELD DCM U.S. M-1 OR M1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE. Serial number "4,278,XXX" in the 1952-54 year range with probable DCM/CMP upgrades including 1965 dated SA barrel. Stock and handguards excellent with no dings having Circle/P behind trigger and eagle/Dept of Defense proof at left wrist crisp. NO import marks. Good bore with four groove rifling. Perfect working order. Nice example of Arsenal or DCM/CMP refurbished battle rifle that probably saw service in Korea before it's Arsenal refurbishment. No DCM/CMP papers.
