Springfield Rifle M-1 Garand 30.06 CMP unfired
Description: This is a real beauty. Looks new! This garand is unfired since I purchased it in 2012. It has been stored in a climate controlled safe for the last 14 years.Condition is excellent. It comes with the original CMP paperwork, the CMP rilfle case and six clips. Four of the clips hold the standard 10 rounds. Two of the clips hold six rounds. These lower capacity clips are required in some states if you wish to use the rifle for hunting. They are also required for competition shooting. This Garand is wearing a reproduction WW2 pattern M1907 sling. These were issued for the M1903 and M-1 Garand rifles. WW1 slings had brass fittings and WW2 slings had steel fittings. This particular sling has brass fittings. I will ship this rifle by UPS or Fed X ground, which I belieive is safer than shipping by air. In any case, the rifle will be well ptotected. The rifle in its CMP case will be enclosed in a plywood reinforced cardboard shipping box. The buyer will pay $90 for shipping and insurance anywhere within the lower 48. If the actual cost of shipping and insurance is greater than $90 dollars, which is likely, I will pay the difference. If the actual cost of shipping and insurance is less than $90 dollars, the buyer will receive a refund for the difference. If the buyer prefers shipping by air or if shipping is to a location outside the lower 48, the buyer will pay the actual cost of shipping and insurance.
