"Persian M1949 Bolt Action Carbine – 8mm (L2026-02044)
Description:
"Serial No. 27915 (Farsi), manufactured circa 1949–1950, chambered in 8mm with a 19" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. This 5-shot, manually operated bolt-action carbine is based on the Czech ZB vz. 33 Mauser design and was produced domestically in Persia prior to the 1953 Iranian coup d’état. The carbine remains in overall very good condition, with light scattered oxidation noted on the metal and a stock that has been refurbished at some point. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
