"Serial number M440857277. Made in 1944 with a 20.5-inch barrel that has a good bore with strong visible rifling. This World War II production Red Army M44 went through a post-war factory refurb/service life extension rebuild, so it is in very good condition with arsenal refinish on the metallic parts & Arctic Beech laminate furniture that remains in crisp shape. Comes with a Soviet ""dog collar"" webbed sling, a 17.5-inch threaded cleaning rod & a 12-inch folding cruciform spike bayonet.
