"Serial no. 5817 (importer number). Manufactured in 1943 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R,29"" round barrel. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are non-matching. The rifle has undergone post-war Soviet arsenal refurbishment, a common practice for Mosin-Nagant rifles retained in military storage after WWII. A crack is noted on the right side of the wrist of the stock. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
